Lydia Henry, CPC, ELI-MP

Principal and Founder

Lydia’s corporate and leadership background spans a successful thirty year career in national and international marketing and sales with AT&T Global Services and Xerox Corporation. She has been a pioneer in creating employment opportunities, community resource networking, and building business partnerships. She provided strategic leadership while serving as a Board Member for Caring People Alliance (A United Way and Girls & Boys Club Affiliate) and AT&T Alliance for Telecommunications Employees. Lydia received the Cecil B. Moore Award for Outstanding Leadership upon completion of the Urban League Executive Leadership Institute in Philadelphia.

She created an international business venture and retail establishment in 1996 and incorporated in both Ghana, West Africa and Philadelphia, Pa. As a member of the East Falls Business Association and President of the East Falls based business “The African Enterprise,” she served on the Steering Committee of the Easts Falls Economic Development Corporation, a framework for the East Falls Redevelopment Waterfront Initiative.

 

Lydia forged a partnership with Richard Cooper, PhD, founder and President of The Center for Alternative Learning, Havertown, Pa. Headquartered at the Center for Human Advancement in Philadelphia, Lydia and Dr. Cooper conducted Organizational Management and Leadership workshops and conference retreats for academic, business, and non-profit leaders. Her trainings focused on developing leadership styles that incorporated emotional intelligence, learning and behavior styles, and goal achievement. As a business and career coach and consultant Lydia has transformed and empowered many individuals in their personal journeys, professional careers, and small business ventures. She has conducted group trainings and professional development series, diversity focus groups, and leadership retreats for institutions across the country.

Lydia is a Certified Professional Coach (credentialed with iPEC Coaching – Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching), an affiliate of the International Coach Federation. She is a Master Practitioner in the Energy Leadership Index (ELI) Assessment. She specializes in leadership, business, and career coaching, integrating personal and professional development. She coaches individuals and organizations to align their visions with intent and behavior. She is a Business Consultant specializing in Marketing, Branding and Strategic Planning. She is the Founder and Principal of Vision Coach Dynamics located in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., and an affiliate partner with The Mufasa Coaching Practice in Benoni, South Africa.
